The next relaxation of rules in England is on 29 March, with more restrictions to be lifted on 12 April and then every five weeks - as long as targets for beating coronavirus are met. Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland are outlining their own plans for lifting lockdown. How are lockdown rules changing in England? Schools and colleges have reopened, and university students can return for practical courses Two people from different households can meet outside for recreation, which can include "a coffee on a bench" Care home residents can have one nominated visitor, with testing and social distance precautions What's going to happen on 29 March?
A number of rooms in halls of residence offer one or more of the following: Specially adapted bathroom Emergency pull cord in bedroom Red flashing lights for D/deaf students Alerter systems for D/deaf students Private shower Kitchens designed for wheelchair users If a Social Services assessment identifies you as needing assistance with daily living, personal assistants may be accommodated. If they are in University accommodation you must sign their contract on their behalf. Assistance dogs can be accommodated. You must declare your disability or medical condition in your UCAS application. You will be asked to provide testimony from your doctor or medical practitioner, confirming the disability or medical condition and whether it will impact on independent living in a residential hall environment. Please ensure you send the testimony and a covering letter from yourself as soon as possible after submitting your application in order to avoid delays in processing. Our flat is on the fourth floor. It has all modern conveniences: central heating, gas, electricity, cold and hot running water, but it hasn't got a lift. There is a living room, two bedrooms, a kitchen, a bathroom and a toilet in our flat. The living-room is the largest room in the flat. It is nicely furnished. My mum likes to watch TV there, it's her favourite room. My parents' bedroom is smaller than the living-room, but it is light and cozy. In this room there are two beds and a wardrobe. The third room is my bedroom. It is not large and there isn't much furniture in it: my bed, a writing table, some shelves and a computer. The best room in our flat is the kitchen.
