I'll be moving to Nottingham from Dublin next month to start a job at Rolls-Royce. I decided on Nottingham because it seems like it will be more lively than Derby. Anyways, I was looking at accommodation in either Beeston or West Bridgford and was thinking of commuting using the train to Derby in the mornings. Questions: Is it possible to take my bicycle on the train so that I could cycle the rest of the way to work. Or alternatively have two bicycles locked at either station? Anyone able to comment on that? What are these areas like? Should I extend my search further afield? I really like running and would like to live in an area near a park where I could get some running done. Thanks in advance for any advice!
